Your role in the team’s success

As our Affiliate Marketing Executive within the UK & Ireland Division, you'll support affiliate partnership operations for the UK market. Reporting to the Head of Affiliates for the UK, you'll assist in executing affiliate and partnership strategies and contribute to day-to-day operations. ]

You'll focus on implementing partnership initiatives while developing expertise in affiliate marketing and partnership management in one of our most established markets.

This role offers a significant opportunity to develop expertise in partnership marketing within financial services. Working in our key domestic market, you'll gain hands-on experience across various aspects of partnership management while sharpening your strategic and analytical skills.

As IG is a global business, success in this position could open doors to progression within the UK & Ireland Division or other regions.

What you’ll need for this role

We're seeking an analytically and commercially minded individual with a keen interest in affiliate marketing and partnerships. You'll have strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, with the ability to support partnership initiatives in the UK market. You'll be based in our UK office and work as part of our affiliate marketing team.

  • Some experience in digital marketing, affiliates, partnerships, or related field
  • Some understanding of affiliate management platforms (Impact, Partnerize, etc.)
  • Strong business English communication skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
  • Experience with basic performance tracking and analytics tools
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
  • Experience in supporting cross-functional teams

Nice to have

  • Experience with Impact.com platform
  • Understanding of UK affiliate marketing landscape
  • Knowledge of financial services or fintech sectors
  • Familiarity with FCA regulatory requirements
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker)
  • Background in performance marketing
  • Understanding of UK digital marketing ecosystem

What you’ll do:

In this role, you’ll support the implementation of IG’s affiliate program strategy to drive customer acquisition and program growth. Working closely with our campaign planning and design team, you’ll help maintain promotional materials, ensuring affiliates have the necessary resources to promote IG effectively.

You’ll assist in monitoring affiliate campaigns, ensuring compliance with FCA regulations and IG’s internal policies. This includes analysing affiliate performance data, producing regular reports on key performance indicators, and identifying opportunities for optimisation. You’ll also investigate and flag any fraudulent or non-compliant affiliate activities, working with internal teams to address any issues.

Collaboration will be a key part of your role, as you’ll communicate regularly with the partner agency and internal teams via email, phone, and meetings. You’ll also support the internal compliance team with the onboarding of new affiliate partnerships, assisting in the scanning and vetting of prospective and existing affiliates.

Additionally, you’ll stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in affiliate marketing, helping to ensure IG’s affiliate program remains competitive and aligned with industry standards.
