Team overview

The Advisory Research Centre is a team of four people delivering relevant, useful and actionable thought leadership to clients across Europe. This role forms the analytical heart of the team, ensuring insights are backed up by a rigorous fact-base.

Core Responsibilities

1. Conducts research and analysis on investing, financial planning and practice management topics to generate relevant insights for clients. Example topics include (i) converting analysis based on the US market to be relevant for a UK, German or Italian market, and (ii) conducting primary research on a new topic in collaboration with senior specialists in the team.

2. Converts research and analysis findings into client-facing material, including PowerPoint presentations, articles, white papers, and short interactive formats.

3. Participates in internal training and communications including training on new thought leadership content. Presents research findings and recommendations with clients.

4. Maintains awareness of thought leadership generated across Vanguard globally, and across the European wealth and asset management industry, and its applicability to Intermediary clients.

5. Develops and maintains key internal stakeholder relationships across the organization.

6. Maintains broad knowledge of the investment industry, as well as compliance, regulatory, and departmental policies and procedures.

7. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Three years experience in the Financial Services industry or client services preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Progress towards CFA or CFP preferred.

How We Work

Vanguard has implemented a hybrid working model for most of our crew members, designed to capture the benefits of enhanced flexibility while enabling in-person learning, collaboration, and connection. Most teams work Tuesday-Thursday in the office, but for some jobs we need our crew to be in Monday-Friday. We will discuss the working pattern for your role during the interview process.
