Right now, we’re looking for a new colleague to join our Technology Solutions Team in the position of Advisor, Technology Solutions (TMS). 

This role will be responsible for identifying and implementing customer-facing technology solutions to meet business and financial objectives. The Advisor, Technology Solutions (TMS) would work hybrid in the UK.

Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Consume and translate business requirements into technical requirements to bridge the gap between business and technical professionals

  • Collaboration with product owner and sales leads to create technology solutions pitch to customers

  • Act as a solution advisor, guiding platform direction to ensure solutions align with business processes, governance standard, system architecture and long-term scalability

  • Configure and support TMS modules including master data, rates, integrations (API/MW), and workflow setup.

  • Participate in global TMS governance, architecture standards, and BY Network community activities.

  • Support TMS implementation projects, including UAT, process design, master data preparation, and deployment

  • Drive platform governance and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Identifying and validating IT business solutions to meet customers’ implementation requirements

  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

  • Provide feedback on application releases and rollouts

  • Participate in solutioning meetings to ensure adherence to core principles

  • Ensure new feature knowledge is cascaded to relevant teams and stakeholders

  • Create and manage technology capabilities roadmap and prioritization

  • Identify technology solutions to meet business and financial objectives

Qualifications

What we are looking for: 

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, supply chain engineering, or supply chain logistics

  • Minimum 3–5 years hands‑on experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), ideally in configuration, implementation, or administration

  • Experience in implementation processes

  • Hands-on experience of administrating Transport Management Systems (TMS)

  • Practical knowledge of BlueYonder suite of logistics products, especially BY Network (formerly OneNetwork)

  • Strong skills in requirements gathering

  • Strong organization, time management and creative problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Fluency in English

  • Additional fluency in one or more of the following languages is a plus: Spanish, French, Italian, or German

The typical salary range for this position is: £43,124 - £ 64,100

 

The actual salary offer will take into account multiple factors including skills and experience. Please note that the salary details listed in role postings reflect the base salary only, not total compensation, which includes bonus and benefits.
