What Financial Planning & Analysis contributes to Cardinal Health
Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.
Financial Planning & Analysis provides strategic partnership and objective guidance to business units. It leads cross functional efforts to enable forward looking, actionable insights with a focus on driving strategic value that influences key business decisions.

Job Summary

  • Reports to Director, FP&A, Pharma Operating Cash Flow with high visibility and engagement with the segment CFO, and Finance, Treasury and Global Finance Shared Services VPs, and Enterprise FP&A teams

  • Works very closely with Treasury, Global Financial Shared Services, Service Delivery Team (Genpact India) and across all Pharma business finance teams 

  • Coordinates total Pharma operating cash flow planning and reporting to be used for updates with the CEO, CFO, Board of Directors, and used for external guidance with Investor Relations

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates key planning and reporting processes (Monthly results reviews, Forecasts, SFP, AOP, Earnings)

  • Provides real time updates on performance, implications, and recommended actions

  • Create materials for the CEO, CFO and Board of Directors, including providing financial analysis and commentary

  • Employs a process improvement mindset to deliver efficiencies across work areas

  • Serves as an objective financial steward with an enterprise perspective, safeguarding our company's assets. Ensures strong controls are in place and the company's intellectual property is protected.

Qualifications

  • 4-8 years of experience, preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred, or equivalent work experience preferred

  • Balance Sheet Accounting or operating cash flow experience preferred

  • Experience with SAP preferred

  • Completes work; independently receives general guidance on new projects

  • Work reviewed for purpose of meeting objectives

  • May act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues

Anticipated salary range: $79,700 - $113,800
