As our Advertising Account Manager, you'll be responsible for supporting the strategy, creation and execution of in-house Food Advertising campaigns and Sponsorship partnerships.

Key Accountabilities and Measures
  • Working within the M&S Advertising, Media & Sponsorship team, responsible for delivering all advertising and paid media campaigns at M&S Food
  • Delivering and owning the end-to-end creation, implementation and measurement of brand advertising and sponsorship campaigns, such as Farm to Foodhall, Health, Christmas & Easter
  • Managing internal stakeholders (category marketing, own brand, events marketing, creative production) effectively and efficiently to deliver campaigns that drive overall business growth
  • Balancing and aligning short-term tactical campaigns (trade driving) with long-term strategic goals (brand-building)
  • Working with Kantar & SystemOne to deliver creative insight to optimise our advertising strategy and execution

  • People & leadership skills – the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across the business
  • Advertising industry knowledge – reviewing competitor activity and keeping up to date on industry initiatives
  • Business knowledge – level of commercial awareness to differentiate M&S from competitors
  • Project management – the ability to effectively deliver briefing, responses and execution of campaigns on time and within budget
  • Retail – the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure
