Due to continued growth, we are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our Worcester office, providing front-of-house and administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office.

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, delivering a professional and welcoming reception experience while supporting the wider team with a variety of administrative and office management tasks. You will work closely with the Office & Facilities Manager to help maintain an organised, safe and well-functioning workplace environment.

About the Role

Alongside front-of-house responsibilities, you will assist with meeting room coordination, office operations and facilities support, playing an important role in ensuring the office runs efficiently for both colleagues and visitors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing a professional and friendly reception service, welcoming clients and visitors
  • Managing meeting room bookings, including set-up, clear-down and catering arrangements
  • Assisting with switchboard operations and directing calls accurately
  • Supporting office management tasks including post, deliveries, couriers and access cards
  • Maintaining office supplies, kitchen provisions and housekeeping consumables
  • Providing administrative support to the Finance & Operations team when required
  • Assisting the Office & Facilities Manager in maintaining health and safety standards
  • Liaising with contractors and engineers to support maintenance and repair works
  • Acting as a designated first aider and fire marshal for the building

You will be organised, approachable and enjoy supporting others in a busy office environment. You will take pride in delivering excellent service and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A professional and friendly approach when dealing with clients and colleagues
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A proactive and flexible attitude to supporting office operations
