The role

What will you be doing?

Administration Team Leader (Internally known as the Document Administration Team Leader)
Location: Dorking (4 days in office per week).

What will you bring?

As an Administration Team Leader you will proactively manage and develop the Document Administration team to ensure the smooth operation of the internal/external documentation at Unum. You will ensure performance targets and objectives are achieved, ensuring a quality service to internal and external customers.

In this role you will:

  • Lead, coach and develop the administration team, ensuring appropriate training and development plans are in place to support individuals.
  • Complete performance reviews and performance management processes – including monitoring of teamwork activity.
  • Plan accordingly within the team to meet internal customer expectations, volume demand, quality and agreed service levels including identifying tools, resource and support required.
  • Have strong relationship skills to collaborate and plan with stakeholders.
  • Identify and drive forward initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and customer service.   
  • Maintain documentation for processes and procedures ensuring all documentation is accurate, current and controlled.
  • Investigate and resolve all Risk Events, analyse, and document sequence of events and provide draft response, recommend corrective actions.
  • Produce work activity MI and monitor work volumes and trends.

The Administration Team Leader will be able to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and decision-making ability. You will also have a strong understanding of GDPR and the protection of customer data.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing and leading teams to ensure the delivery of excellent customer service.
