Origination & Execution Admin Assistant, Corporate Risk Solutions
The Corporate Risk Solutions (CRS) team was formed in 2021 in order to maximize M&G's competitive advantage as both asset owner (insurer) and asset manager. The remit of the team is to design our bulk purchase annuities and alternative de-risking products for UK Defined Benefit pension schemes.
Due to ongoing success and a strong opportunity set, the team is adding headcount in a number of areas. This role is focused on assisting the administrative function of the origination and execution team. This includes managing all daily administration requirements of the team. CRS has ambitious new business targets and is looking for exceptional people who will help assist the team in delivering these.
Key Responsibilities for this role:
- Maintaining the team’s CRM system so that it’s up to date
- Assisting in the organisation of meetings for the Origination & Execution team with both external parties & internal stakeholders
- Interacting with other departments within M&G and contact with external parties and query triaging, as required
- Assisting with timeline management
- Formatting templates, including quotation documents, pitch decks, etc
- Raising requisitions and ensuring timely payment of invoices
- Assisting with the organisation of travel and conference attendance for members of the team and processing monthly expenses
- Ensuring a clear digital filing system for the team
- Providing 1-1 assistance to the Head of Origination & Execution, as needed
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook
- Excellent project and internal and external stakeholder management skills
- Ambitious and self-motivated with ability to work both on own initiative and within a team
- Proactive, takes ownership and able to prioritise workload
- Enthusiastic with strong organisational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
