Description:

Guy Carpenter—one of the world’s most respected reinsurance brokers and part of Marsh is seeking an exceptional Analytics Specialist to support our Life & Health practice across EMEA and APAC. This is a rare opportunity to join a market-leading franchise where your analytical insight will directly shape solutions for the world’s top insurers, reinsurers, and financial institutions.

We are looking for a high-calibre, intellectually curious professional with strong technical capabilities and a strategic mindset—someone who thrives in a global environment and is eager to influence executive-level decision-making across two of the industry’s most dynamic regions.

The role also includes client-facing engagement, where you will collaborate directly with insurers, reinsurers, and senior executives to present insights, shape reinsurance strategies, and support high-impact decision-making.

We welcome candidates from consultancy backgrounds, including those from the Big 4 firms. Such experience brings valuable skills in client engagement, problem-solving, and exposure to diverse industries and business challenges, which enriches our team’s ability to deliver innovative, client-focused solutions.

We will count on you to:

  • Deliver high-quality Life & Health analytics to support reinsurance placements, capital modelling, pricing strategy, and product development.

  • Partner with brokers, actuaries, and regional leadership in EMEA/APAC to craft analytically driven client solutions.

  • Analyse complex datasets, actuarial outputs, medical underwriting assumptions, and experience studies to produce actionable insights.

  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations for client meetings, pitches, and strategy sessions.

  • Support the development and enhancement of proprietary models across mortality, longevity, morbidity, disability, and critical illness portfolios.

  • Contribute to research on emerging risks, demographic trends, medical advancements, and their impact on Life & Health portfolios.

  • Collaborate with global analytics teams to ensure consistency, innovation, and best-practice modelling

  • Be responsible for developing and improving client and market presentations in, Excel, PowerPoint and other MS-packages.

What you need to have:

  • Solid experience in Life & Health insurance or reinsurance analytics—actuarial, data science, pricing, risk modelling, portfolio management, or related disciplines.

  • Strong quantitative foundation with proficiency in relevant tools

  • Exposure to reinsurance structures and life & health product lines (mortality, longevity, morbidity, group benefits, protection, etc.).

  • Ability to translate technical findings into strategic recommendations for senior stakeholders.

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, global environment with multiple concurrent projects.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Part-qualified or nearly qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.

What makes you stand out?

  • You adapt quickly to changing market dynamics and client needs across diverse regions, thriving in a fast-paced, global environment.

  • You are passionate about continuous learning and professional growth, staying ahead of industry trends, emerging risks, and advancements in Life & Health analytics.

Why join our team:

  • We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work and supportive leaders.

  • We foster a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can work with talented colleagues to create new solutions and have impact for colleagues, clients and communities.

  • Our scale enables us to provide a range of career opportunities, as well as benefits and rewards to enhance your well-being.

At Guy Carpenter, a Marsh business, you can be your best. We work on challenges that matter with colleagues who help bring out our best. Our uniquely collaborative environment will empower you to focus on your personal and professional success, learning from top specialists in the (re)insurance industry and leading you towards a rewarding and impactful career.
