Amex GBT is seeking an Acquisition Integration Analyst, preferably with Privacy subject matter expertise, to join its Risk, Compliance & ESG team. This individual will support with integration planning and execution efforts for Amex GBT’s acquisitions. Integration analysts are key players on cross-functional integration teams to execute relevant tasks, including activities ranging from developing and implementing actionable plans to achieve transaction objectives, to executing tactical requirements such as screening financial counterparties against prohibited transactions lists. Stakeholder groups can include business and technology teams, HR, legal, finance, and communications. Successful Acquisition Integration Analysts at Amex GBT are strong team players, self-starters, natural problem solvers, collaborative, able to manage competing priorities and deliverables, and not fazed by adversity or ambiguity. This position is required for a period of approximately one year to support the expansion of M&A efforts and post-closing integration into the Global Risk and Compliance Program.

What You'll Do:

  • Monitoring several acquisition integration projects simultaneously.
  • Tracking, communicating and supporting with appropriate performance measurements to project team and stakeholders.
  • Working with cross functional teams to deliver objectives outlined in integration plans.
  • Tracking and reporting on key deliverables through to completion.
  • Participating in the continuous improvement of Amex GBT’s integration processes and best practice.

What We're Looking For:

  • 2+ years of project implementation experience.
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration an asset.
  • Excellent project and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, including MS Project.
  • Bias for action in times of ambiguity.
  • Effective and collaborative communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision and manage tasks from start to finish.
  • M&A integration, corporate development, project management or management consulting experience.
  • Compliance, legal or regulatory experience at a global multi-national corporation or a leading global law firm an asset.
  • Ability to learn business processes and balance business opportunities with regulatory and reputation risk.
  • Technical acumen relevant to the travel business (i.e. Global Distribution Networks, Lexis Nexis Bridger) and the ability to converse on technical integration topics an asset.
  • Ability to travel up to 80%.

The US national annual base salary range for this position is from $50,000 to $100,000.  The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role.  Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
