We are hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing Finance team. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will support and improve the Finance team’s day-to-day operational Accounts receivable processes. 
This is a fixed-term temporary employment contract to cover maternity leave. The initial duration of the contract is 18 months, with the possibility of extension or further opportunities based on performance and organizational needs.

What would your day look like?

  • Managing accounts receivables activities. (including setting up accounts and contracts, sending out invoices, reconciling incoming payments, performing collection activities, and resolving outstanding payments) 
  • Communicating with customers about day-to-day concerns (invoicing, payments, collections, payment methods, etc.)
  • Collaborating across teams (especially sales, delivery, and business operations) to ensure smooth operations.
  • Perform Accounts Receivable month-end closing activities.
  • Perform various Accounts Receivable reporting.
  • Following the team agreements, policies, and procedures manuals.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation for financial operations and transactions.
  • Contributing ideas and suggesting process improvements to drive greater efficiency.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business curriculum, such as Accounting, Finance, etc., required
  • 2-4 years of previous experience in finance (experience with basic accounting tasks and processes)
  • Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
  • Desire to grow and learn tremendously
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Being analytical, detail-oriented, self-motivated, innovative, proactive, thorough, diligent, trustworthy, efficient
  • Having a positive mindset, integrity, and honesty
  • Ability to work remotely and independently, being self-organized
