Job Description

Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Thorpe Park, Leeds, Hybrid working.

We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in accuracy, and loves finding smarter ways of doing things. As our Accounts Payable Specialist, you'll play a key role in making sure suppliers are paid correctly and on time, while helping us maintain strong financial controls and excellent service standards. You'll work closely with colleagues and suppliers across the business, solving problems, building great relationships, and supporting continuous improvement as we continue to evolve and automate our processes.

What we need from you:

  • Previous Accounts Payable experience in a high-volume processing environment.

  • Strong understanding of invoice processing, supplier reconciliations and payment runs.

  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately and maintain strong financial controls.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the confidence to investigate and resolve discrepancies and queries.

  • Great communication and stakeholder management skills, with a customer-focused approach.

  • Proficiency in Excel (including Pivot Tables and XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP) and experience using ERP systems such as Oracle; an AAT qualification or equivalent experience would be an advantage.
