F1 are looking for an Account Executive to join their Partnership Management team. This role will be working alongside a Partnership Manager to help manage a portfolio of Formula 1’s commercial partners.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for account managing and supporting on the account management of F1 partners
- Implement an account management structure with day-to-day contacts that drives efficient communications and productivity of projects. E.g. arrangement of regular call, status documents, face-to-face meetings etc.
- Proactive and organized approach to the delivery of partnership rights and team responsibilities that support the partnership manager/senior manager and partner ambitions
- Develop excellent and positive relationships with partner contacts and internally within every business department to support successful delivery of role
- Deliver and support partner programmes for the whole partner base at an operational and activation level at Grand Prix weekends
- Supporting the team across wider partnership based projects and events e.g. gifting programmes, partnership workshops, F1 partner events
- Take ownership of a departmental line of communication on behalf of the partnership team and drive efficient and organised information sharing between the two groups as the central POC
- Reporting (coordinating or managing); results & case studies on a regular basis with an understanding of key objectives and meaning behind the results
About You
- Strong experience in a relevant partnerships account management role
- An understanding of brand and communications and the role of sponsorship for brands
- Proven account management track record with key relationships and high-level clients
- Experience of working in a fast paced environment and event based outputs
- Creative ability to construct bespoke sponsorship activations meeting client needs
- Highly independent, performance-driven, and comfortable with working in a dynamic environment to tight deadlines.
- Effectively managing multiple initiatives simultaneously
- An understanding of the various verticals in which rights are delivered to provide constructive and considered feedback internally and for partners e.g. social branded content, hospitality programmes, event brand exposure etc.
- Individual should be creative and highly motivated to contribute to the success of the team and its projects
- High attention to detail and ability to take accountability and ownership of work with support from others as required
- Excellent team player
- Excellent inter-personal skills and a great communicator
