We have several offices in Central and Southern England and have ambitious plans to expand our business. To support the organisation’s growth, we have an opportunity for an Accounts & CT Administrator to join our Farnham team. This is a permanent full-time role working 5 days per week in the office. 
The Role
Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Being responsible for maintaining organised and secure records of clients’ documents, returns and correspondence across offices.
  • Ensuring compliance with record retention policies and data security standards.
  • Communicating with clients in a clear and professional manner, addressing their questions and concerns.
  • Providing clients with guidance on deadlines and required documentation.
  • Submitting accounts electronically or by mail to relevant authorities in accordance with deadlines
  • Verifying the acceptance and processing of submitted accounts and addressing any issues that may arise.
  • Regarding Corporation Tax you will oversee the Corporate Tax payment reminder process, drafting CT reminder letters and emails. As well as making CT submissions and deal with CT repayments, chasing and monitoring where necessary.
  • You will ensure that the organisation’s administrative policies and procedures are followed and updated as needed.
  • You will have responsibility for all incoming/outgoing professional clearance; this may just require you to co-ordinate the information to and from other parties.
  • You will stay informed at a high level about regulations and policies.
  • You will have responsibility for a number on administrative tasks including; the drafting of Service Line letters as requested, all scanning for the service line, billing administration, appealing late filing penalties where appropriate and monitoring responses and liaising with HMRC where necessary.

  • You will have GCSEs in Maths and English at grade 5 or above (or equivalent)
  • You will demonstrate strong organisational and time management skills.

  • Typically, you will have several years of experience in administrative roles, with a proven track record of increasing responsibility.
