We are recruiting an Accounting Manager to join our European Head Office in London. Reporting to the Head of Accounting, you will play a key role in ensuring IFRS and J-SOX compliance, strengthening financial controls, and delivering accurate reporting across multiple European markets.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to combine strong technical expertise with business partnering, team leadership, and process improvement in a fast-paced international environment.

What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Ensure IFRS, J-SOX, and statutory compliance across designated markets.

  • Own financial control, reporting accuracy, and balance sheet integrity.

  • Lead and develop Financial Accountants, providing coaching and support.

  • Strengthen accounting processes, controls, and governance frameworks.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insight and identify efficiencies.

  • Support audits and collaborate with shared service and outsourced finance teams.

  • Drive continuous improvement across accounting operations and reporting processes.

Skills, Experience and Attributes

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with post-qualified experience.

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, and internal controls.

  • Solid understanding of balance sheet and P&L accounting.

  • Audit background preferred, with exposure to a commercial environment.

  • Experience managing and developing teams.

  • Advanced Excel and ERP systems knowledge.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Fluent English; additional European language skills are advantageous.
