The Role

At SellerX we offer an exciting opportunity to join us as Accounting Manager (x/f/m) for our US entities. In this role you'll not only lead a team of dynamic and passionate accountants but also help us to develop the existing accounting function and drive strategic projects within our ERP transitions and first-time adoption of IFRS.

Your Responsibilities in Detail

The position will report directly to the Head of Accounting. Primary responsibilities will encompass the following, among others:

  • Own the accounting results of several international group entities and onboard new entities into our reporting structure
  • Establish and improve strong month end procedures and provide technical accounting guidance to our finance teams
  • Prepare the annual financial statements for individual entities and support the Head of Accounting & Reporting with variance analysis on actuals versus budget and preparation of commentary.
  • Implement and oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual month end procedures.
  • Lead the audit of your entities and assess complex transactions from an accounting perspective.
  • Manage a team of experienced accountants and take our accounting to the next level.
  • Support the implementation of accounting guidelines for the SellerX group.
  • Partner with business stakeholders across the organization and add value to strategic initiatives, such as legal entity rationalization.
  • Constantly seek for improvement opportunities and drive changes.


Your Background

To join our team, you bring along 

  • Experience in senior accounting roles, preferably within multinational corporations (7+ years)
  • Structured sharp communication in English
  • First leadership experience of a team of experienced accountants
  • Strong technical affinity and passion for automations
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of IFRS and statutory reporting requirements
  • Experience with common ERP systems (Netsuite is a plus)
  • Excellent stakeholder management and a strategic mindset
  • Positive can-do attitude in a challenging and demanding environment round your profile
