What You'll Do:
This role is responsible for ensuring all general ledger and financial operating requirements are met and provide appropriate finance systems support through working with the appropriate IT/Business teams
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Financial Operations
- SAP GL management and close processes (including monthly, quarterly, and year-end close)
- AR/AP processing and reconciliation
- Tax compliance, reporting, and filing (corporate, VAT/GST, WHT)
- Continuous review of debtors, working with the business to push on debt collection as part of credit control and prepare any related bad debt provision
- Credit postings
- Intercompany reviews
- Perform appropriate balance sheet reconciliations
- Provide audit support for non-revenue items
- Head office charge posting
- Cash flow management and treasury (including intercompany transactions)
- Key liaison with WNS who provide certain OTC, P2P and RTR activities
Finance Reporting
- SAP GL management and close processes (including monthly, quarterly, and year-end close)
- Reporting pack reviews
Systems
- SAP/Stadium/Esker system access, maintenance, and data migration support
Working Conditions:
Fixed Term Contract, 18 Months - London, Chiswick Park
Working Days: Mon-Fri
Working Hours: 9am-5pm
You Have These:
Knowledge and Experience
Mandatory
- Newly Qualified (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) or Part Qualified or equivalent
- Confident and flexible team player
- Experience of providing finance leadership within a commercial environment
- Proficient in Microsoft packages specifically Excel
- Ability to work alongside and understand the requirements of operational and commercial colleagues
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Drive to initiate and lead projects and see them through to a conclusion
- A pro-active approach and the ability to work independently
Desirable
- Media/Betting industry experience
- SAP experience
- Experience of working in a complex, multi-national organisation
