Job DescriptionWhat you will do:
Job Summary: A senior preparer position responsible for delivering comprehensive fund accounting services for complex portfolios. This role handles a full spectrum of complexity levels (low, medium, and high) with minimal supervision, focusing on sophisticated accounting processes and detailed client deliverables. The position requires strong technical expertise and the ability to lead preparation of complex financial reports while maintaining high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation of detailed and accurate financial statements, NAV calculations, and required reports for complex clients; apply accounting standards and policies with expertise in diverse fund structures
- Process capital calls, distributions, and investor notices; perform bookkeeping for complex transactions and prepare periodic financial reports while maintaining accuracy and timeliness
- Document detailed procedures for complex accounting processes and identify and report potential operational risks to management to support operational excellence
- Conduct self-reviews to maintain quality standards and participate in required training programs, knowledge sharing initiatives, and process improvement projects to enhance team capabilities
- Track work progress through timesheet completion and perform other related duties as assigned to support role and business needs
Qualifications
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field or ACCA Level 2 or ACA
Professional Experience:
- At least 4 years of experience, with a minimum of 2 years in fund accounting
