Job DescriptionWhat you will do:
Job Summary: A mid-level accounting position responsible for delivering comprehensive fund accounting services with minimal supervision. This role handles both low and medium complexity funds, focusing on core accounting processes and standard cluster communications. The position requires independent execution of established procedures while maintaining quality and timeliness standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver financial statements, NAV reports, and other client-specific deliverables in accordance with prescribed guidelines and relevant accounting standards
- Maintain accurate fund books and records through daily bookkeeping activities, periodic financial reporting, and adherence to established quality control processes and standard operating procedures
- Process routine capital calls, distributions, and investor notices while identifying and reporting potential operational risks to management
- Conduct self-reviews and quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with established standards and detailed checklists
- Participate in training programs, process improvement initiatives, and documentation of standard operating procedures to support professional development and operational excellence
Qualifications
Educational Background:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field or ACCA Level 1 or ACA
Professional Experience:
• Preferrably with at least 2 yrs of experience, with a minimum of 1 yr in fund accounting
