Purpose of the Role

We’re recruiting an Account/ Project Manager hybrid role to be the operational day-to-day lead on a key Dentsu Creative UK account, project managing in a client-facing capacity. Working closely with our account leads across business units, you’ll be responsible for establishing and implementing efficient processes and workflows, managing projects and being a driving force for excellence of the work.

Speed and agility are important in this role, being proactive and anticipating what’s coming next is key. The role will include resource management, trafficking, ensuring all tasks are delivered on time and on budget.

The successful candidate will be a strong problem-solver, decision-maker and collaborator with exceptional communication and people management skills. They’ll also be brilliant at juggling multiple complex projects and possess solid digital fluency and experience.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Managing workflows and resourcing allocations

  • Ensuring comprehensive briefings, communicating tasks and deadlines clearly.

  • Organising all creative WIPs and following the correct creative approval process

  • Preparing and maintaining detailed production timelines to track progress across multiple workstreams

  • Liaising with wider team to ensure that the project timing plan and deliverables list are up to date

  • Tracking and managing team hours and expenses

  • Excellent at managing budgets and financials, ensuring that all relevant financial documentation is kept up to date, including quotes and invoices / purchase order admin (knowledge of using Paprika is a plus but by no means necessary)

  • Manage, attend and input at weekly team update/status meetings, sharing progress updates

  • Excellent at managing budgets and financials

Creative

  • Write creative briefs, obtain appropriate approvals and brief teams alongside planners and ADs

  • Manage presentation deck builds, collating all inputs into the client document

  • Check all copy/visuals before presentation to the Client (ensuring copies are taken)

  • Ensuring quality control of the end product

  • Write briefs for studio/production – obtain relevant approvals and brief teams with AD

  • Co-ordination with Media, planning, studio and production agencies

Clients

  • Understand the Client’s business, their marketplace and their key objectives, sharing competitor and category insights with them regularly

  • Develop strong working relationships with Clients and ensure their needs are met quickly, efficiently and completely

  • Take creative/artwork comments from Clients, interpret them into debriefs for Creatives

What you bring

  • Experience in managing campaign project management delivery is essential

  • Digital fluency (tech and communications formats/channels) is essential, experience in social media would be beneficial

  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills, plus a sharp attention to detail

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (especially Excel). Experience in project management software and optimising workflows is a plus (e.g. Smartsheets)

  • Proven track record in problem solving and course correcting independently and proactively, with solid organisational and multi-tasking skills
