We are looking for a driven Accunt Manager to join our team in the UK, focusing on revenue generation and relationship management within the Consumer Lending and Payments vertical.

What You Will Do

In this client-facing sales role, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Revenue & Relationship Management: Drive sales and revenue growth within your assigned patch of accounts while building strong, lasting relationships.

  • Strategic Selling: Identify opportunities for Equifax products and solutions—spanning credit risk, fraud/ID, collections, and marketing—to meet evolving client needs across the credit risk lifecycle.

  • Pipeline Execution: Manage your sales pipeline and execute standard sales activities by learning your clients' businesses and positioning relevant solutions.

  • Account Planning: Develop skills in account planning and connect customer business imperatives directly with Equifax solutions.

  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders across Data & Analytics (D&A), Legal, Compliance, and Project Management to execute deals.

What Experience You Need
  • Business Development: Demonstrated experience sourcing new opportunities and identifying prospects using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

  • Executive Engagement: Proven ability to engage with C-suite executives and conduct regular customer interactions via video and face-to-face meetings.

  • End-to-End Deal Management: Experience managing the entire sales cycle, from discovery through to closing and executing renewals.

  • Performance Driven: A track record of achieving sales targets, hitting KPIs, and managing a high volume of work effectively.

  • Operational Excellence: Proficiency in maintaining accurate CRM data and participating in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).

  • Sales Skills: Expertise in objection handling and ensuring solutions directly meet customer requirements.

What Could Set You Apart
  • Industry Expertise: Previous experience working within a Credit Reference Agency.

  • Sector Knowledge: Experience managing and selling into organizations within the Financial Services or Payments sectors.

  • Technical Understanding: An existing foundational understanding of the credit lifecycle.
