The Opportunity
We are looking for an ambitious Account Manager who is passionate about building relationships and values customer service. You will be focused on long term client retention and future growth by managing customer inquiries and proactive stakeholder engagement. You will partner with sales and sales engineering to upsell and educate clients on new offerings and ensure we continue to maintain and improve our industry leading service offering.
What you will do:
- Serve as the primary commercial contact for multiple clients
- Partnering with the Sales and Client Service organizations, adding incremental value to the client experience
- Maintaining and improving the commercial relationship with the client, penetrating the account to:
- Overall client health
- Forecast, prevent and manage churn
- Account planning and KYC
- Design and enforce consistent processes to capture all relevant client information (key contacts, ITL, key opportunities, etc)
- BAU commercial activity and order management
- Contract renewal management
- Collaborate with the other departments to manage the day-today operation of the clients’ projects and business while in production.
- Partnering with Client Services on Quarterly Service Reviews
- Partnering with Sales on new opportunity generation
- Current client communication, product, and feature updates, etc
- Uncovering cross-sell/upsell opportunities
- Run campaigns to the install based to feature new product and use cases to raise awareness and arise opportunities (ESG, ETF, …)
- Tracking, and measuring key KPIs and CSAT for each client
Who you are:
- Experienced professional understanding data challenges of the Financial Services industry (buy and sell side)
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Commercial acumen
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experienced and highly proficient with MS Excel® and MS PowerPoint®
- Sound working knowledge of financial spreadsheets, databases, and applications
- Knowledge of equity and fixed income benchmarks
- Leadership skills and ability to work as well as independently
- Experience in a client facing role within financial markets
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
- Graduate caliber, preferably in a finance or a related field
