We’re looking for an Account Manager to join our Lightspeed team in London. You will be responsible for building and maintaining lasting relationships with Lightspeed's accounts.
With your knowledge of their needs & objectives, you will be tasked with introducing them to Lightspeed’s suite of products and integrations to ensure they’re getting the best solution to help them achieve their goals.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for your customers;
  • Guide qualifying customers through their upgrade path from basic platforms to more advanced platforms;
  • Demonstrate software solutions to your customers, from core POS products to our integrated Payment solution,  modules and upgrades;
  • Build a trusted advisor relationship with your customers and identify upsell opportunities;
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise the growth of your book of business;
  • Collaborate with Customer Success Managers to identify accounts at risk and prevent churn;
  • Track key book of business metrics like Payments AMRR, Software added MRR and net retention;
  • Strong communication across departments that include Customer Success, Sales, Partnerships, Product and Support teams;
  • Take feedback from customers on product development;

What you need to bring:

  • Experience in a quota carrying sales role;
  • A background in the Retail or Payments sector would be ideal, but if you don’t have that we’ll settle for lots of passion and enthusiasm for the industry;
  • You are a people person, goal-oriented, and have a passion for sales and  building relationships;
  • Understanding of solution-based consultative sales in a SaaS environment;
  • Ability to use Salesforce.com and other technologies to manage and organise pipeline;
  • Confident demonstrating the value of tech solutions and driving informed return of investment discussions;
  • Entrepreneurial approach; you work smarter not harder;
  • Good time management with strong organisational skills;
  • Committed to a culture of positivity and high performance;
