With private equity investment in 2023, and a new CEO joining the business in August 2024, we are at the start of a journey to redefine who we are, and articulate that to the market in a meaningful and impactful way. We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our team, playing a key role in growing our business.

The Account Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of small accounts, overseeing client relationships and delivering exceptional service with the aim of increasing revenue.  This role serves as the lead for client engagements, ensuring alignment with client goals, maximising satisfaction and identifying areas for account expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain, manage and nurture client relationships with key stakeholders
  • Understand the clients business objectives and challenges, then align the services of 101 Ways to meet those needs, providing strategic insights and solutions
  • Act as the primary point for client issues, escalating to an Account Director/ Sector Lead as necessary
  • Identify any upsell and cross sell opportunities within client accounts to maximise revenue and profitability
  • Drive client retention by delivering exceptional service and demonstrating value
  • Own the account planning and contract process, support on the negotiation of terms
  • Manage and track account budgets, profitability and accurately forecast revenue
  • Monitor and control costs on accounts, balancing profitability with client satisfaction
  • Report account metrics on a monthly basis, including financial performance and progress against objectives, together with supporting account action plans if needed
  • As part of the Client Leadership Group, collaborate with the delivery teams to ensure projects meet deadlines, budget and quality standards
  • Facilitate client check ins, status updates and performance reviews to keep stakeholders informed and engaged
  • Stay informed on industry trends and challenges in the Tech Services sector and the client sector, leveraging insights to offer innovative solutions and ensuring that 101 Ways remains competitive and relevant
  • Support Account Directors working on strategically important accounts

The individual

  • Minimum of 5 years in an Account Management role in the Tech Services Sector
  • Proven track record of managing and growing accounts, with a focus on profitability as well as revenue
  • Ability to create client-centric value propositions
  • A deep understanding of the Tech Services sector, particularly bespoke software development, data and AI and agile delivery methodologies
  • Ability to collaborate successfully with  cross functional teams
  • Developed negotiation skills, able to successfully manage contract renewals identifying cross sell and upsell opportunities
  • Skilled at identifying potential client issues and suggesting risk mitigation tactics
  • High attention to detail

The role is based in Central London with regular time spent onsite at the  Client. The role reports to an Account Director.
