Strategic Account Executive -

General Summary:

The Strategic Account Executive is responsible for leading and nurturing relationships with strategic account partners.  

This role is focused on achieving revenue growth of existing solutions and expansion, selling new software products and managing the entire sales cycle to close in both motions. 

This role works in partnership with cross-functional teams to build and execute a strategy to ensure the mutual objectives of ConnectWise and our partners are met, strategic goals are accomplished and key relationships are fostered with internal and external stakeholders.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Achieves ACV bookings targets for growth and expansion sales motions 
  • Manages strategic accounts and serves as primary contact for assigned partners
  • Runs an effective quarterly business review process with key stakeholders within partner accounts (in-person where possible) 
  • Self-generates pipeline for new solutions and services based on partners priorities
  • Proactive outbound communication and frequent contact with key decision makers 
  • Reports on bookings forecast, pipeline generation, escalations and other key metrics 
  • High degree of product knowledge and competitive landscape

  • Knowledge of account planning and managing sales activities with strategic accounts 
  • Highly skilled at outbound prospecting and opportunity creation with c-suite 
  • Experience running strategic opportunities with multi-stakeholder engagement 
  • Ability to situationally adapt, creatively problem solve, and understand new technologies 
  • Ability to effectively present key materials, negotiate with partners, and build strong interpersonal relationships 
  • Knowledge of sales processes and procedures 
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects concurrently and cross-functionally independently without supervision 
  • Strong knowledge of ConnectWise products, competitive landscape, Managed Service Providers (MSPs) 

Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in related field or equivalent business experience
  • Required: 3+ years MSP Industry, 5+ years sales experience
  • Preferred: Cyber Security, PSA, RMM, BCDR

Working Conditions:

  • Hybrid Role based out of the London Office (3+ days in office unless traveling)
  • 20-60% travel required
