About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and commercially driven Account Manager to develop and grow our Screeding & Flooring customer base across the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting our range of high-quality screeding and flooring solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in construction sales, flooring, building materials, or technical specification sales who enjoys building long-term customer partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of service and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within the screeding and flooring sector.
  • Visit contractors, distributors, merchants, architects, specifiers, and flooring installers across the assigned territory.
  • Promote the company's screeding and flooring product range and provide technical guidance where required.
  • Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales opportunities.
  • Deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Work closely with internal teams including Customer Service, Technical Support, Operations, and Logistics to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales pipeline using the CRM system.
  • Achieve agreed sales targets, KPIs, and business objectives.
  • Represent the company at industry exhibitions, trade events, and customer meetings.

Requirements

Essential

  • Previous experience in a sales or account management role within construction, building materials, flooring, or screeding.
  • Proven ability to develop customer relationships and grow sales.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of screeding systems, flooring products, insulation, adhesives, or related construction products.
  • Experience selling into contractors, merchants, distributors, or specification markets.
  • Technical understanding of flooring applications and construction practices.
