What you will do

This role requires a highly motivated and talented salesperson with a proven track record of achievement.  They will be responsible managing key client relationships and building new ones to ensure we maximize the opportunities at the front end and on an ongoing basis

How you will do it

Prospects will be gained by existing contacts, tender enquiries, social media campaigns, referrals from manufacturers, telephone canvassing, sales meetings/ presentations and often demonstration of product. The sales process will normally involve negotiations at board level of large and blue-chip companies. Previous sales experience in the security industry is advantageous but not essential.  The person will be responsible for preparing their own proposals and costings with assistance from our sales design support team.  Proven track record of achieving targets more than £2m for last 3 years.

Also Critically will be the ability to map the Customers internal network, understand the full organization and then defining the contact strategy born from the account plan to develop the relationship holistically at all levels (c-suite down), and across all functions within the Customer (procurement, IT, EHS, program management, engineering etc) The individual will need to create relationships with executive level customers and engage customers in understanding the value of our solutions/services provide.  The individual will need good negotiation skills and be adept at managing many different customers within a single company/organisation or public sector entity.

The focus area for this role is in New Build Construction and Fit Out so experience of this sector is essential.  Ideally the candidate will already have good relationships with the top 20 main contractors and electrical contractors and is comfortable working to tender deadlines and negotiating with Commercial focused teams.

What we look for

  • Experience working in a similar role
  • Experience in Integrated Security Solutions preferable
  • Relationship, solution, account, or multi-call selling
  • Strong tender and bid writing and delivery, using portals, and identifying the Right opportunity.
  • Security standards (system design codes)
  • Configure – price – quote tools and applications
  • CRM management and use preferable (salesforce.com)
