Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve the monthly sales budget for the South Wales area.
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with new and existing customers through proactive face-to-face sales.
- Prepare and execute geographical business development plans aligned with product strengths and targeted industries.
- Create individual customer development plans for priority accounts with clear objectives and follow-up actions.
- Analyse accounts and managed products using CRM, CGE, and Pivot reports to maximise profitability.
- Respond to incoming sales leads on the same day.
- Ensure accurate documentation for contracts and call-offs.
- Drive managed product campaigns in collaboration with the Product Management team in Leeds.
- Implement product price changes across the customer base.
- Utilise area management tools effectively (e.g., daily orders, quotes, margin analysis).
- Maintain accurate and detailed CRM records following customer visits.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments to ensure efficient time management and sales growth.
- Log and escalate customer complaints promptly via the Quality System.
- Carry out any reasonable ad-hoc requests from management.
Candidate Requirements:
- Degree-level education or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a commercial environment with strong analytical and sales skills.
- Proficiency in modern ERP and CRM systems, as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Full UK driving licence is essential.
