Job Description

Account Manager, Enterprise

Why This Role?

Take ownership of an established portfolio of customers and turn strong relationships into sustainable commercial growth.

You'll retain and develop existing enterprise accounts, identify cross-selling opportunities and manage deals from initial opportunity through to completion. Working closely with sales, purchasing, finance and project delivery teams, you'll play a key role in driving revenue growth while delivering an excellent customer experience.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing enterprise customer accounts
  • Achieve and exceed agreed sales, revenue and profit targets
  • Build trusted relationships with customers and key vendor Account Managers
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities across IT products and services
  • Take ownership of opportunities and progress deals through to completion
  • Prepare the commercial elements of customer proposals, including pricing, discounts and margin modelling
  • Deliver engaging sales presentations to both new and existing customers
  • Monitor competitor activity and support customer retention strategies
  • Maintain accurate customer, opportunity and relationship data within Salesforce
  • Work closely with Purchasing, Finance, PMO and other internal teams to ensure successful delivery of products and services

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Previous Account Management or Sales experience within the IT or technology sector
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience managing and growing existing customer relationships
  • Strong commercial awareness with an understanding of pricing, profitability and margins
  • Experience using CRM systems to manage opportunities and customer engagement
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organisation, planning and time management skills
  • Customer-focused approach with a passion for building long-term relationships
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Resilient, proactive and results-driven mindset

Desirable

  • Experience using Salesforce CRM
  • Experience working with technology vendors and partners
  • Knowledge of IT products, services or managed services
  • Experience delivering customer presentations and commercial proposals
  • Experience working closely with purchasing, finance or project delivery teams
