Account Manager, Ecommerce / Online Advertising

Connexity, a Taboola company, drives e-commerce success for 50% of the Internet’s largest online retailers. We deliver $2B in annual sales by connecting retailers to shoppers on the most desirable retail content channels. As a pioneer in online advertising and campaign technology, Connexity is constantly iterating on products, solving problems for retailers, and building interest in new solutions.

Connexity has recently been acquired by Taboola to make the first Open-Web Source for Publishers connecting editorial content to product recommendations, where readers can easily buy products related to stories they are reading.

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Merchant Account Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of Merchant, Advertiser, and Brand accounts, focusing on building strong client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and driving revenue. As the primary point of contact for your clients, you will partner with internal teams to deliver exceptional service and measurable success. Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary contact for assigned merchant accounts, building strong, long-term partnerships.
  • Sales & Product Pitching: Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, pitch tailored solutions to existing and new clients, and drive revenue growth.
  • Strategic Growth & Optimisation: Develop strategies to optimise budgets, diversify traffic, and enhance performance based on client needs.
  • Data Analysis & Insights: Track account performance, analyze trends, and provide actionable, data-driven recommendations to boost ROI.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Finance, Product, and Operations teams to ensure smooth client experiences and advocate for client needs.
  • Networking & Representation: Represent the company at industry events to promote offerings and expand professional networks.
Requirements
  • Experience & Track Record: 3-5 years in customer success, account management, or similar roles in e-commerce or digital advertising, with a proven track record of achieving revenue targets and driving customer satisfaction.
  • Industry Expertise: Deep knowledge of e-commerce trends, digital advertising ecosystems, and performance marketing strategies.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in French and English (written and verbal) for effective communication with diverse clients.
  • Analytical & Organisational Skills: Strong ability to interpret data, generate insights, and manage multiple accounts efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Highly organised with attention to detail.
  • Interpersonal & Sales Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with a proven ability to pitch products and influence decision-making.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in CRM platforms, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and analytics tools for performance measurement.
