Overview

As an Account Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day relationship, success and growth of our clients.  Internally, you’ll manage our cross-functional team to deliver innovative work. You’ll juggle competing priorities, from budgets to resourcing, as you contribute to assuring agency revenue and profitability. Externally, you’ll manage our clients to the success they dreamed of. You’ll intuit their needs and inspire them with what’s possible.

We’re looking for a savvy business manager who understands an agency's P&L and how we grow and equally understands a client CMO’s business struggles and how they grow. We need a socially native thinker who understands how to use social media to drive key client outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You have proven experience contributing to a $2-5M+ book of business, and you have deep knowledge and expertise in multi-social channel marketing and social innovation.
  • You will manage client relationships from coordinator to brand manager, building deep-thought partnerships based on trust and care. You act as the client's “therapist” to elicit and articulate their unexpressed needs and big dreams.
  • You’re thirsty for growing business with existing and new clients and understand how to identify and unlock profitable revenue and relationship growth opportunities.
  • You inspire cross-functional teams with strong and thoughtful leadership, creating an ownership and accountability culture.
  • You know how to make sound business decisions and manage competing priorities.
  • You’re good with the details and know how to contribute to annual, quarterly and monthly revenue forecasts and projections
  • You know CRM systems (we use Salesforce - prior knowledge not a requirement), and know how to track and manage pipeline, revenue, contracts, invoicing, profitability and customer satisfaction to meet or exceed established goals
  • You can participate as needed for new business intake and outbound efforts

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5-8+ years experience in an account services/marketing role with at least 2 years in a management role
  • Deep social media expertise
  • Demonstrated ability to develop marketing strategies, plans and programs in social media and brand marketing
  • Experience and examples in building, managing and motivating a high-performing team
  • Measurable client growth and retention track record
  • Highly developed skills in communication, polish and presence
  • Facility setting and holding boundaries, and leading difficult conversations
  • Very high levels of flexibility and creativity for solving problems
  • Proven new business or revenue generation experience (both outbound and inbound)
  • Intense desire to excel in an entrepreneurial, collaborative environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Kind, loving and JOYFUL

We look forward to hearing from you! 🎵💃
