General Description

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing an existing book of business by fostering strong relationships with our customers. In this role, your focus will be on client retention, account management, and reducing churn by ensuring customers are receiving the best service possible. You’ll be the primary point of contact for your accounts, proactively identifying opportunities to strengthen partnerships, resolve issues, and expand service offerings. You’ll work closely with our operations and administrative teams to ensure seamless service delivery while managing customer needs with a consultative approach.

The main accountabilities are:

  • Proactively engage with existing customers to strengthen relationships and ensure long-term satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities to expand services within current accounts and drive revenue growth.
  • Address customer concerns and inquiries promptly, providing solutions that enhance the client experience and reduce churn.
  • Enter intelligence gathered into our ARES system for future follow-up and account management.
  • Collaborate with operations and administrative teams to ensure service excellence and problem resolution.
  • Conduct periodic client meetings and site visits to maintain a strong presence and understand evolving customer needs.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities to better support client retention and strategic growth.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • 2-4 years of solid business-to-business (B2B) account management or sales experience.
  • A proven track record of client retention, relationship management, and reducing churn.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate and address client needs proactively.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and time management skills.
  • Experience with contract management and renewals is an asset.
  • Knowledge of ARES, Salesforce, or comparable CRM tools is a plus.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle for client meetings and account management activities.
