About the Position
FiscalNote Europe is looking for a London-based Account Executive to join our EMEA Business Development team. Account Executives are central to our market expansion and revenue growth. They build genuine strategic partnerships with new customers by developing a deep understanding of their goals and challenges, guiding senior-level conversations about how organisations can use government and policy intelligence to inform their strategy. The ideal candidate brings a bias for action, intellectual curiosity, and a true executive mindset.
 
About the Business Development Team

The Business Development team at FiscalNote Europe is growing fast, expanding our client base across the continent. Our mission is to help clients navigate risk, opportunity, and uncertainty with innovative, data-driven solutions, delivered through our platform of software and information-services products. The team is a diverse mix of experienced professionals and newer talent, all supported by strong opportunities for learning and career development, rooted in FiscalNote's values and mission.

 
About You 

You are a driven, collaborative sales professional with a genuine interest in politics and policy. You know how to identify opportunity within your territory and move quickly from insight to action. You lead well-prepared, tailored demos and aren't afraid to ask the hard questions. You present yourself with warmth and professionalism, and you bring intellectual curiosity to every client conversation. Experience in public affairs or a strong eagerness to build expertise in the space is essential.

What To Expect In This Position

  • Lead demos and pitches with senior stakeholders and C-suite executives
  • Build, manage, and close a pipeline of new business
  • Own and achieve a new business quota
  • Develop account penetration strategies across your territory
  • Attend and contribute to relevant industry events
  • Create thought leadership and sales enablement content
  • Build expertise in industry-specific policy areas

What Sets You Apart

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent experience
  • 1 to 3 years of B2B software or information services sales experience
  • A consultative, solutions-oriented approach to selling
  • Demonstrated track record of hitting or exceeding quota
  • Experience bundling professional services with software
  • Proficiency with Salesforce
  • Knowledge of European or international politics and policy, or a strong drive to develop it
    Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a bonus
