The Role

We are looking for a proactive and commercially driven Account Executive to help accelerate our growth in the UK market, with a particular focus on public sector.

You'll own the full sales cycle end-to-end - from prospecting and qualification through to demo, negotiation, and close. You'll work closely with Sales Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, and channel partners to deliver a best-in-class buying experience.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-growth environment and is excited about representing a cutting-edge cybersecurity platform in a rapidly evolving market.

You'll be based in our central London office and report to Valentin, our Global Head of Sales.

Your day-to-day

  • Own and close inbound and outbound opportunities across mid-market and enterprise accounts, including public sector organisations
  • Drive complex sales cycles: lead discovery, deliver tailored demonstrations, and build compelling business cases
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, acting as a trusted advisor for the full Heimdal platform
  • Develop and executive territory and account strategies to drive sustainable, long-term revenue growth
  • Work closely with channel and reseller partners, supporting joint opportunities and partner-led leads
  • Collaborate with Marketing to refine messaging, support campaigns, and generate pipeline
  • Partner with Customer Success to ensure smooth onboarding, adoption, and long-term customer value
  • Maintain strong operational discipline, including forecast accuracy, Salesforce hygiene, and pipeline management
  • Represent Heimdal at industry events, conferences, and partner activities
  • Stay up to date on Heimdal's competitive landscape and market positioning.

You'll be accountable for a personal sales quota and expected to execute on sales strategies defined within the Account Executive team.

What we are looking for

  • 3+ years of experience in a full-cycle SaaS sales role (cybersecurity experience is a strong plus)
  • Experience selling into the UK public sector (e.g. central government, local authorities)
  • Existing relationships with UK channel partners, resellers, or distributors are a strong advantage
  • Proven track record of exceeding quota and growing revenue within a defined territory
  • Strong understanding of SaaS sales motions, including value-based and solution selling
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, scale-up environment
  • A proactive, self-driven mindset with a genuine passion for technology and cybersecurity
  • Being a firm believer in the math of sales, knowing success is a combination of hard work, strong priorities and high quality.

What we offer

  • An attractive commission model (uncapped)
  • Hybrid working (London office)
  • Up to 5 additional company-paid days off/year ("Personal Day" and "Anniversary Days")
  • Healthcare cash plan
  • A supportive, ambitious, and collaborative team culture

Our Mission
We are leading the fight against cybercrime and protecting the operational integrity of all midmarket and lower enterprise companies.
