Our client base is wide and varied - and within it sits a number of small businesses that operate quite differently to our larger clients. Many of these businesses are fast-growing, building innovative new processes and go-to-market motions - and our data often sits at the heart of them! We’re building a new team that caters to this segment of the market and driving a foundational revenue line to help support the rest of the business. Now we’re looking for an account executive to join the team and help us grow that value.

Private companies represent 80% of private sector employment and over 90% of revenues across Europe. They are the backbone of our economy – creating jobs, driving innovation, and generating the tax receipts that enable government services. Yet finding, collecting, and understanding information about private companies remains a significant challenge.

We bridge this gap by providing our customers with comprehensive, up-to-date private company information. Our online platforms and API help our clients to discover, track and understand these companies. This empowers them to take informed action, whether they're offering services or funding to help companies grow, crafting supportive policies, or making better decisions through deeper understanding of the economic landscape.

We work with venture capital firms, big financial institutions, leading universities and the Government to help them find and work with companies that drive disruption and innovation across the economy.

The Role

We have built a world-class sales process with a fully developed tech stack and a proven, MEDDIC-led sales methodology. We target senior decision-makers in companies from SME through to enterprise level from all industries, running highly personalised outreach and advising our prospects in consultative conversations.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Targeted outreach: Inbound flow will be strong, but we expect you to craft and execute smart outreach at scale, through personalised cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to senior decision-makers.
  • Short sales cycles: Your sales cycles should be short — and you need to ensure every touchpoint you have with the prospect is high-impact. Understanding business challenges in-depth, demonstrating how our data solves them is key to driving urgency.
  • Managing the sales pipeline: Planning & delivering a strategic & successful sales pipeline from start to finish.
  • Building relationships: Establishing a value-led relationship with your clients in every touchpoint, via multiple channels (phone, virtual meetings, in-person, and via email), to ensure you can close deals quickly & effectively.
  • Managing renewals: Ensuring existing clients get value and managing their renewal process.
  • Running demos: Managing online demos with potential clients, and making it highly personalised for each client use case.
About you 

We’re looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years in B2B Sales (but we’d love to hear from you if you have much more!). You should have a proven track record of smashing your KPIs and SaaS experience.

Ideally, you’ll be:

  • Detail-oriented — We sell a complex-product, and you need to comfortable diving into the technical detail to sell it.
  • Proactive/ambitious — You love suggesting ways to do things better & are driven by your targets and your own personal growth!
  • A natural people-person — A great listener, emotionally intelligent, and great at getting to know all different personalities.
  • Quick thinker — You pick things up fast, and you’re able to remain calm under pressure.
  • Resilient — You’re able to bounce back after a set-back and proactively learn from your mistakes.
