About the Role
OX Security is looking for an experienced Sales Executive to lead our expansion into the UK and Ireland. We are seeking a qualified Account Executive with a proven and tested track record of selling complex SDLC software solutions into Enterprise customers. You will be responsible for all sales-related activity in the region, managing the entire cycle from prospecting to negotiation and close.
At OX, you won't just sell a product, you will configure unique demonstrations and proofs of value to accelerate buying decisions and build lasting "trusted advisor" status with our prospects.
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities
- Full Sales Cycle Management: Own the entire process from initial hunting/prospecting to negotiation and closing.
- Regional Ownership: Take full responsibility for all sales-related activity within the UK/Ireland territory.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead and direct a cross-functional team (Marketing, Sales Ops, Sales Engineering, Product, and Leadership) through various stages of complex customer journeys.
- Strategic Sales Plays: Articulate the right sales plays that create urgency and move opportunities to close.
- Leadership & Mentoring: Exemplify leadership by training and coaching team members and junior staff earmarked to support regional prospecting.
- Systematic Selling: Apply leading sales frameworks to demonstrate a systematic approach to every opportunity.
- Reporting & Communication: Communicate and track the unique requirements of each sales opportunity while adhering to management standards for sales reporting in Salesforce.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working as a top-performing Account Executive.
- 2+ years of experience working specifically in the Cybersecurity vertical.
- Regional Expertise: Must be based in the UK with experience selling into the UK/Ireland Enterprise market.
- Proven Track Record: A tested history of achieving and exceeding individual sales quotas YoY and hunting/selling into new logo accounts.
- Startup Mindset: Scrappy and comfortable working in a fast-paced, hypergrowth startup environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated ability in creating and delivering pervasive client presentations that align varied stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Application Security Experience: Background and knowledge in the AppSec space (SCA, SAST, SDLC tools).
