We are looking for a Sales & Marketing (Travel Trade) Account Executive to work on an amazing portfolio of destination clients.

As the Travel Trade Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining excellent relationships with high profile international destination clients and travel trade partners. You will play a crucial role in the team supporting both the Account Manager and Account Director on the day-to-day delivery of travel trade activities. The candidate would be confident in their ability to multi-task, delivering presentations and working at a fast pace. This is a fantastic role for an individual looking to establish their role in the industry. 

 

Key responsibilities include: 

  •  Preparation and delivery of travel trade training presentations to travel agents both virtually and in-person
  •  Assist in the organization of sales missions and client visits including but not limited to venue sourcing, invite creation and on-site delivery
  •  Keep up to date on travel trade trends and visitor statistics to the destination as well as carrying out competitor analysis 
  •  Support in the organisation of travel agent familiarisation trips to the destination including but not limited to itinerary liaison with the client and hosting the group
  •  Maintain trade databases for clients 
  •  Ensure tracking of all KPIs against activity
  • Support the team in all events, campaign and day-to-day reporting including but not limited to weekly, monthly and annual reports 

 

Skills and Experience required:  

  •  Qualification to a degree level or at least 6 months experience working in sales and marketing
  •  Ideally experience in travel and tourism
  •  Passion for travel to North America is preferred 
  •  Ability to multi-task and manage multiple activities at one time
  •  Comfortable presenting to travel agents 
  •  Strong written skills and communication skills 
  •  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Some domestic and international travel will be required as well as evening events
