Ohme is on a mission to accelerate the global transition to clean, affordable energy. We do that by serving as an integrated hardware and software smart-grid platform, focused on the residential EV charging market.

The worlds of energy, transport and artificial intelligence are colliding and Ohme is at the heart of this new era. By using technology and data integrations to connect cars, chargers, people, energy providers and more, Ohme has a powerful platform that puts the consumer at the core.

Ohme has been selling its chargers to consumers since mid 2019 and has had exponential growth since. We are now operating in multiple countries and have partnerships with the likes of VW, Mercedes, Octopus Energy, and other innovative brands.

We are scaling up the business and are building out the team for rapid growth. If you’re interested joining a fast-growing cleantech venture on a data and AI-first journey to speed up the global transition to clean, affordable energy, read on!

Your Role

We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Account Executive to join our Sales Team, supporting growth across Ohme’s UK reseller channel.

This is a hybrid role; combining time in the office, working from home, and visiting customers on the road. You’ll be out meeting installation partners, supporting wholesale branches, and building relationships that help drive Ohme’s success.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to develop hands-on experience in account management, field sales, and customer support, while being part of a fast-growing, forward-thinking business in the clean energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and develop relationships with Ohme’s installation partners, wholesalers, and regional accounts across the UK.
  • Spend time out in the field — visiting branches, installers, and customers to provide support and product training.
  • Help organise and deliver training sessions and events to promote Ohme’s products and services.
  • Identify local sales opportunities and share insights with senior account managers.
  • Support the wider team in maintaining and growing regional sales activity.
  • Keep account information and visit notes up to date in our CRM system.
  • Assist in expanding Ohme’s presence in the new build housing sector, helping to strengthen relationships with housebuilders and contractors.
  • Work closely with internal sales and customer support teams to ensure our partners receive great service every step of the way.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in a customer-facing, sales, or account support role (B2B or B2C).
  • Confident communicator who enjoys meeting new people and building relationships.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and happy working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable spending time travelling to visit customers and partners.
  • Organised with good attention to detail and willingness to learn new systems (CRM experience a plus).
  • Experience in the wholesale, trade, or electrical sector is helpful but not essential.
  • A genuine interest in clean energy, EVs, or technology.

Benefits

You’ll get to work in a fast-paced and rapidly growing scale-up with global ambitions that is cutting edge, passionate about sustainability and seeks to make the world a better place.

Our benefits:

  • Competitive salary and performance bonus
  • Private Health Insurance
  • Pension Scheme
  • Life Assurance Scheme with death in service benefit of 4x salary
  • Income Protection Scheme for long term illness
  • Ride to Work Scheme
  • Payroll Giving Scheme
  • Season Ticket Loan to spread cost of travel over 12 months
  • Eye Test every 2 years

Ohme is an equal opportunity employer. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion are at the heart of what we do and we encourage a culture where everyone can be themselves at work. We actively seek out a diverse range of talent and our policies ensure that every job application and employee is treated fairly, with equal opportunity to succeed and to feel included.
