Role Summary and Impact
As a Programmatic Account Executive, you will be responsible for supporting the management and optimization of programmatic campaigns. You will develop strong platform knowledge, contribute to programmatic planning, and assist with data analysis under the guidance of more senior team members. Working closely with Programmatic Account Managers, you will contribute to the execution of programmatic media activity, striving for best-in-class delivery and insightful commentary through data analysis. Your focus will be on ensuring seamless campaign implementation and contributing to client objectives and KPIs within the Programmatic channel and the WPP Open ecosystem.

This role is foundational for ensuring seamless campaign implementation and contributing to client objectives and KPIs within the Programmatic channel, operating effectively within the WPP Open ecosystem.
Reporting Structure: Reports to Programmatic Account Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Management:
- Support the implementation, management, and daily optimisation of programmatic campaign activity to excel in reaching client objectives and KPIs.
- Assist in creating media plans designed to achieve specified KPIs.
- Support on the day-to-day Quality Assurance (QA) process, minimizing errors and ensuring consistent and accurate adherence to process.
- Contribute to client testing plans, including supporting the planning, execution, and evaluation of tests with methodical accuracy.
- Client and Partner Support:
- Prepare client reports and assist in basic campaign analysis, extracting insights to support recommendations for future activity.
- Work with partners and attend regular platform training to develop programmatic skillset and industry knowledge.
- Operational Excellence:
- Contribute to the appropriate use of tools to drive accountability in programmatic buying, operational efficiencies, and actionable business insights.
- Assist in ensuring financial accuracy, integrating the planning and buying process, and reconciliation of spends, including client terms and programmatic fees.
- Help maintain standards and processes throughout the end-to-end campaign lifecycle.
Skills and Experience
- Programmatic Aptitude: Passion for programmatic activation and driving excellence. Demonstrating developing proficiency in core trading platforms (e.g., DV360, TTD, Amazon), with an affinity for numbers and an analytical thought process.
- Foundational Knowledge: Eagerness to develop an understanding of programmatic buying, optimization levers, and major platforms.
- Analytical & Organisational: Ability to manage time effectively, strong attention to detail, and capable of working as part of a group to analyse campaign data and identify trends and actionable insights.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Mindset: Proactive and self-motivated, always looking to expand knowledge and capabilities within the programmatic landscape and industry trends.
