Our Global Sales team is hiring a Link Product Specialist Account Executive. Payments are at the core of Stripe’s business. In a global business environment, payments are complex and require deep enterprise knowledge to drive strategic conversations with our users. This Account Executive will drive conversion and cost optimization sales conversations covering Link, including Instant Bank Payments and Financial Connections.

What you’ll do

As a Payment Product Specialist at Stripe, you will use your sales and product expertise to help drive growth of Stripe’s payment offerings with both new and existing customers. You will collaborate with product, engineering and marketing teams to develop deep product and industry knowledge and drive strategic deals. You will be instrumental in leading in depth product discussions with existing and prospective customers – and building and executing against our go to market strategy for new products.

You’re a natural people person who is as comfortable working with clients as with internal stakeholders (including executives). You are used to building value in competitive situations and enjoy working on products that require deep product understanding, combined with technical knowledge. You’re excited to become an expert and to share your knowledge. You’re an energized and organized self-starter. You’re highly analytical and you have a track record for improving the processes and organizations around you.

Responsibilities

  • In a product sales role, you’ll be accountable for driving revenue, increasing attach rates, and new client acquisition at high rates of growth.
  • Lead discussions with our largest existing and prospective customers
  • Contribute to the development of go-to-market playbooks alongside product, marketing, sales, and technical services stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively and cross-functionally across the organization to help shape Stripe’s products and solutions to meet customer needs
  • Serve as both an internal and customer-facing expert on Stripe’s Payment Products including Link, Instant Bank Payments and Financial Connections
  • Gather and build on Stripe’s wide-ranging payments expertise to create product narratives supported by rigorous analysis

Minimum requirements

  • At least 10+ years of client facing experience at a leading technology, payments or management consulting firm
  • Experience presenting to senior business leaders
  • A proven ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with business partners
  • The ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and thrive in an unstructured, fast-moving environment
  • A proven ability to be a self-starter capable of driving business results without significant supervision
  • An enthusiastic “roll up your sleeves” mentality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
