Account Executive – New Verticals

As an Account Executive in our New Verticals team, you will play a key role in ensuring the success of new mid-market Grocery and Retail partners on Deliveroo. Acting as the bridge between our Business Development Managers and the New Partner Experience (NPX) team, you will guide partners through their first 90 days on the platform, making sure they are fully set up, engaged, and positioned for growth.

You will be responsible for launching partners with the right menus, imagery, and tagging, ensuring smooth operational setup, and supporting them with marketing and operational best practices. You will monitor performance post-launch, proactively identify challenges, and provide actionable recommendations to reduce churn and maximise partner success.

This is a hands-on role at the heart of a new business vertical. You will help shape how Deliveroo builds lasting relationships with partners in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.

What you’ll be doing

  • Act as the link between Business Development Managers and the NPX team to ensure seamless onboarding for new partners

  • Support new partner launches by ensuring menus, imagery, tagging, and backend setup are accurate and high-quality

  • Guide partners through onboarding, providing clear communication and support at every stage

  • Educate partners on how to drive growth on Deliveroo, sharing marketing and operational best practices

  • Monitor partner sales performance during the first 90 days, proactively reaching out to those struggling

  • Provide tailored recommendations and communications to partners to drive engagement and reduce churn

  • Work cross-functionally with SMB, NPX, Marketing, Ops, and Account Management teams to ensure partners are set up for success

  • Feed back insights to help improve the onboarding process and make it more efficient and scalable

Requirements

  • Experience in account management, partner onboarding, or customer success, ideally in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and priorities

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong partner relationships

  • Commercial mindset with the ability to analyse sales data and translate it into actionable insights

  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, high-growth business where challenges often require creative solutions

Why Deliveroo?

Our mission is to transform the way you shop and eat, bringing the neighbourhood to your door by connecting consumers, restaurants, shops and riders.

We give people the opportunity to buy what they want, as they want it, when and where they want it.

Workplace & Benefits

At Deliveroo we know that people are the heart of the business and we prioritise their welfare. Benefits differ by country, but we offer many benefits in areas including healthcare, wellbeing, parental leave, pensions, and generous annual leave allowances, including time off to support a charitable cause of your choice. We currently operate in a hybrid working environment allowing you more flexibility between work and home.

Diversity

We believe a great workplace is one that represents the world we live in and how beautifully diverse it can be. That means we have no judgement when it comes to any one of the things that make you who you are - your gender, race, sexuality, religion or a secret aversion to coriander. All you need is a passion for (most) food and a desire to be part of one of the fastest growing startups in an incredibly exciting space.
