Who we are

At TwelveLabs, we are pioneering the development of cutting-edge multimodal foundation models that have the ability to comprehend videos just like humans do. Our models have redefined the standards in video-language modeling, empowering us with more intuitive and far-reaching capabilities, and fundamentally transforming the way we interact with and analyze various forms of media.

With $107 million in Seed and Series A funding, our company is backed by top-tier venture capital firms such as NVIDIA's NVentures, NEA, Radical Ventures, and Index Ventures, and prominent AI visionaries and founders such as Fei-Fei Li, Silvio Savarese, Alexandr Wang and more. Headquartered in San Francisco, with an influential APAC presence in Seoul, our global footprint underscores our commitment to driving worldwide innovation.

We are a global company that values the uniqueness of each person's journey. It is the differences in our cultural, educational, and life experiences that allow us to constantly challenge the status quo. We are looking for individuals who are motivated by our mission and eager to make an impact as we push the bounds of technology to transform the world. Join us as we revolutionize video understanding and multimodal AI.

About the Role

TwelveLabs is at the forefront of video AI technology, transforming how businesses understand and utilize their video data by leveraging our multimodal video foundation model. Our go-to-market team is dedicated to driving the adoption of these powerful models by helping customers power use cases.

As an Account Executive for Media & Entertainment - EMEA, you will have a pivotal role in our go-to-market strategy and revenue growth within the UK and broader European market. The UK and EU have emerged as critical growth regions for TwelveLabs, with strong engagement from leading organizations including Sky, BBC, ITV, RedBull, Canal+, and Bertelsmann. This is a unique opportunity to shape not only the sales culture of our EMEA operations but also the way that foundation models get adopted within Europe's leading Media & Entertainment organizations.

You will work with leading companies across the Media & Entertainment industry - from game developers, to movie studios, news broadcasters, sports leagues, and streaming platforms - to help drive innovation in the content production and delivery process. You will own the end to end sales process, from building the first relationships with potential customers to deeply understanding their business needs and helping them succeed with TwelveLabs.

We recommend this role to candidates who are excited about the opportunity to create a market category and thrive in an ambiguous environment. Ideally, you will have experience having built and executed go-to-market strategies as part of the early team in a software startup.

In this role you will
  • Manage the entire sales cycle to win new business and drive revenue. You will initiate the first relationships with customers, deeply understand their business needs, educate them on video foundation models, negotiate contracts, and help them succeed with TwelveLabs.

  • Own and develop key accounts in EMEA. Manage 2-3 of the largest priority accounts in the region while building pipeline across approximately 100 additional named accounts in the Media & Entertainment vertical.

  • Navigate diverse European markets. Adapt your sales approach to regional procurement protocols, compliance requirements, and buying behaviors unique to different European markets.

  • Develop and validate hypotheses on the right strategy. Work with the EMEA leadership team to bring cutting-edge multimodal video models to market across the UK and broader European region.

  • Build strategic partnerships. Collaborate closely with AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, and NVIDIA to leverage their relationships and accelerate deal velocity in your accounts.

  • Collaborate closely with our product team. Share customer feedback and insights to inform our product roadmap and deliver enhanced experiences for European customers.

  • Set and achieve ambitious sales targets. Provide regular progress reports to regional and company leadership on pipeline development, deal progression, and market opportunities.

  • Represent TwelveLabs at industry events. Maintain strong presence at key European media and entertainment trade shows and conferences to build brand awareness and generate pipeline.

You may be a good fit if you have
  • 5+ years of enterprise software sales experience, focusing on the Media & Entertainment industry, with experience selling in the UK and/or broader EMEA markets.

  • Demonstrated the ability to create and grow a sales pipeline and drive complex deals to completion across diverse European markets.

  • Understanding of European market dynamics. Familiarity with regional differences in business practices, procurement processes, and buying behaviors across the UK and EU.

  • Deep curiosity and creative problem-solving abilities, but can make data-driven decisions.

  • Demonstrated the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, where you learn and iterate quickly to find the right path to success.

  • Strong partnership collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively with cloud providers and systems integrators to accelerate customer adoption.

  • Willingness to travel as needed for customer meetings, presentations, and industry events across the UK and EMEA region.

  • Based in London. This role requires presence in the region to effectively engage with customers and partners.

Even if there are a few checkboxes that aren't ticked through your prior experience, we still encourage you to apply! If you are a 0-to-1 achiever, a ferocious learner, and a kind and fun team player who motivates others, you will find a home at TwelveLabs.

We welcome applicants from all walks of life and are committed to equal-opportunity employment. We cherish and celebrate diversity not just because it is the right thing to do, but because it makes our company much stronger.
