What you'll do:
As a Strategic Account Executive for our Majors team, you will be responsible for building long-term, strategic relationships with your customers. This will include building and executing against a strategic account plan to deliver value to your customers, generating a pipeline of major business initiatives, and meeting significant commercial growth targets. You will have a strong track record in working with executive level decision makers in large enterprise customers, and have experience in selling complex solutions. You will have a demonstrable ability to navigate the key business and technical needs of your customers, and will create and deliver compelling value propositions.
You will drive the sale and adoption of Cloudflare services and solutions into large enterprise customers headquartered in the UK and Ireland. Your focus will include but not be limited to the Forbes G2000/FTSE 100 companies that have substantial requirements for Cloudflare solutions. This role will include both scaling commercial growth in enterprises that are existing customers of Cloudflare, and winning net-new logos as new business customers.
The ideal candidate will possess a major account sales background in technology solutions - preferably in software/SaaS and security based services - that enables them to deliver results with senior decision makers within Cloudflare's target customers. A track record of working in highly dynamic sales environments, orchestrating across a matrix organisation, and new business selling skills are also highly preferable.

- Maintain a robust sales pipeline.
- Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.

Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Relevant direct experience, track record, and relationships within largest corporate enterprise accounts in the UK & Europe
- 10-20+ years of direct B2B selling experience, 5-10+ years selling to large enterprise/strategic accounts
- Direct experience selling network security and/or CDN solutions and services preferred
- Experience managing longer, complex sales cycles
- Basic understanding of computer networking and "how the internet works"
- Aptitude for learning technical concepts/terms (Technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus)
- Strong interpersonal communication (verbal and written) and organisational skills.
- Self-motivated; entrepreneurial spirit
- Comfortable working in a fast paced dynamic environment
