About hyperexponential (hx)

At hyperexponential, we're building the AI-powered platform that enables the world's most critical decisions in a $7 trillion industry - which risks to take, and how to price them. These are the decisions that shape real-world outcomes: whether rockets successfully launch into space, autonomous vehicles make it to market, or communities recover after major storms.

Until now, insurance has been making billion-dollar decisions using outdated tools. We're changing that. Our platform brings together data, AI, and human expertise to give insurers the fastest path from submission to decision - helping them move faster, act smarter, and take on more risk with confidence.

Backed by a16z, Highland Europe, and Battery Ventures, we're scaling globally - already trusted by nearly 50 of the world's largest insurers, with zero churn and billions in premiums flowing through hx.

What began as a single product in one market has rapidly evolved into a multi-product, multi-territory platform powering every stage of pricing and underwriting. AI is at the core of what we do - from building the world's first domain-specific AI peer programmer for insurance (think GitHub Copilot with a PhD in actuarial science) to shaping agentic workflows that reinvent how this industry operates.

What makes hx different is the people who build it. Here, impact isn't tied to title or tenure; it's defined by the challenges you take on and the discipline you bring. Surrounded by peers who stretch you, you'll do the best, hardest work of your life in a company engineered to endure.

If that sounds like you, join us in building what comes next.

About the Sales team

Sales at hx is driving exceptional growth in one of the world’s most complex industries, partnering with globally recognised insurers including Aviva, Markel, Munich Re, Beazley, and others across EMEA and the US. This is where AI, SaaS, and specialty insurance converge, and where we help leading insurers transform how they underwrite and price risk.

Our International Sales team works across a diverse portfolio of insurers and intermediaries throughout EMEA. This includes large regional carriers, growing multi-geo insurers, MGAs, brokers, and commercial P&C players. While these accounts may not always be global “whales”, they are strategically important, fast-moving, and often undergoing significant transformation.

This is not high-volume transactional selling. The people who thrive here combine structure with adaptability. They know how to navigate different market maturities, build credibility quickly, and tailor their approach to varied stakeholders across underwriting, actuarial, operations, and technology. They balance new logo acquisition with thoughtful territory development, helping international insurers adopt and scale AI-powered decision-making.

What you’ll be doing
  • Own and execute a territory plan across EMEA, building and closing a pipeline of opportunities across a broad mix of insurers, MGAs, and brokers.

  • Drive consistent revenue performance across new business and expansion, closing high-value SaaS partnerships that create long-term customer relationships.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to underwriting, actuarial, operations, and technology stakeholders, positioning hx as a strategic partner in modernising pricing and portfolio decision-making.

  • Navigate multi-stakeholder sales cycles with discipline and structure, qualifying thoroughly, managing risk, and maintaining deal momentum from first conversation through to close and handover.

  • Collaborate closely with SDRs, Solutions Engineers, Solutions Architects, ABM, and leadership to deliver coordinated, high-quality engagements that reflect the needs of international markets.

  • Develop a deep understanding of regional insurance dynamics, market nuances, and regulatory considerations across EMEA, representing hx with credibility in local and cross-border conversations.

What you’ll need to have done
  • Sold B2B SaaS in complex environments, ideally within insurance, financial services, or other regulated and analytical industries.

  • Closed meaningful new business deals across mid-market and enterprise segments, with evidence of managing multi-stakeholder processes and driving expansion opportunities.

  • Applied structured sales methodologies such as MEDDICC, Challenger, or similar, and can demonstrate how you’ve used them to qualify effectively and maintain control of deals.

  • Built credibility with underwriting, actuarial, and technology stakeholders by translating complex technology into clear commercial and operational outcomes.

  • Managed a diverse territory with discipline, balancing prospecting, relationship-building, and pipeline management using tools such as Salesforce.

You’re unlikely to thrive here if
  • You prefer highly prescriptive sales playbooks and predictable cycles over ambiguity, problem-solving, and taking ownership of complex situations.

  • You are looking for a transactional sales role rather than one that demands strategic thinking, long-term relationship-building, and territory ownership.

  • You are uncomfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, challenging thinking, or representing the company in high-profile external forums.

If reading our Culture Document leaves you feeling neutral rather than energised, hx may not be the place where you'll do your best work. We're building something that asks for commitment and conviction, and we want you to feel excited by the opportunity to grow with us.

Benefits
  • £5,000 training and conference budget for individual and group development.

  • 25 days of holiday plus 8 bank holidays (33 days total).

  • Company pension scheme via Penfold.

  • Mental health support and therapy via Spectrum.life.

  • Individual well-being allowance via Juno.

  • Private healthcare insurance through AXA.

  • Income protection and Life Insurance.

  • Cycle to Work Scheme

Additional Perks:
  • Top-spec equipment (laptop, screens, adjustable desks, etc.).

  • Regular hackathons, lunch & learns, and socials, both remote and in-person, to foster collaboration and creativity.

  • Team breakfasts and lunches, fully stocked snacks and drinks, and a fun, creative office at The Ministry.

  • Access to cutting-edge AI tools and experimentation budget, giving you the freedom to test, learn, and innovate ahead of the market.
