The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Corporate Account Executive to join us in Germany. In this role, you will own and develop strategic relationships with a defined set of established commercial and enterprise accounts across several verticals, including Finance, Insurance and Payment Services.
You will help customers drive business and IT transformation initiatives using Red Hat’s solutions and services, working closely with technical teams and engaging our partner ecosystem to deliver value-driven outcomes.
What you will do:
- Be accountable for delivering on the Red Hat sales strategy and increasing performance and customer success in assigned set of accounts; retain and grow bookings through partners
- Apply knowledge of use cases and strategic offering value proposition to win new business and identify and work on opportunities to increase upsell, cross-sell, and renewals across Red Hat portfolio, increasing presence within accounts
- Orchestrate the full account team (solution architect, sales specialist, Services specialist, Market Development etc.) to bring Red Hat’s full value proposition to life within accounts and drive measurable business and technology outcomes.
- Work closely with partners to understand how customer derives value from Red Hat solutions, generate cross and upsell opportunities with partners, support expansion and retention, and ensure customer meets success criteria outlined in the Value and Success Plan
What you will bring:
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with ability to proactively engage and align a diverse set of stakeholders in a matrixed organization
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability, with the ability to proactively drive opportunities forward in complex sales cycles
- Understanding of ecosystem landscape and how to engage with partners to create a better together value proposition for customers
- Strategic orientation and value engineering skills to position and sell solutions to customers’ needs and build business cases around ROI and total cost of ownership (TCO)
- Solid understanding of customer’s business, industry trends, competitive landscape, and Red Hat differentiators and value proposition
- Ability to articulate the hybrid cloud story, the value of Red Hat solutions, and Red Hat’s differentiation with key customer stakeholders and partners
- Record of delivering effective and engaging presentations to a variety of audiences
- Ability to cultivate long-term relationships and develop internal advocates across customer organizations, including IT and business roles
- Proven experience selling complex IT solutions to large organizations and multiple decision makers by engaging the partner ecosystem
- Willingness to travel across the region up to 50%
- Excellent communication skills in English and German
- 5+ years of experience working in a matrixed, multinational IT organization as a field sales
