The Team and the Role

Equinix’s Sales Team helps organizations to navigate through their digital transformation journey, speed the launch of digital services, deliver premium experiences, and transform people’s lives.

Within the Sales Team, this role will be working on a portfolio of prospect customers across different industries within the UK, helping them understand the potential they can achieve through Equinix's value proposition.

The Account Executive will lead sales actions directly and through partners as they are key to our success.
You will get to work with others and give them opportunities to hone new skills and try new approaches.

The role in few points

  • Create relations with key stakeholders in assigned prospect accounts
  • Manage the sales cycle A-Z, from the first contact to the closure of the deal  
  • Focus on understanding customer challenges and proposing solutions to deliver business value
  • Selling Equinix’s solutions directly and indirectly
  • Facilitates customer relationships to ensure timely resolution of customer issues
  • Conducts quarterly business reviews with customers to identify and develop new selling opportunities
  • Work together with the extended sales team (Sales Engineers, Solutions Architect, Customer Care, etc.) and external partners to maximize our actions’ impact
  • Understands commercial levers and problem solves to make initial recommendations on deal structure; overcome objections and position and engage and senior levels in account, lead commercial offers and contract negotiation
