Role Overview:
As an Account Executive specializing in SD-WAN and SASE in the UKI, you will drive sales of Cisco's integrated networking and security solutions that enable secure, seamless connectivity for distributed workforces. You will engage with customers and partners to understand their networking and security needs, position Cisco's SD-WAN and Secure Access/SASE portfolio, and close deals that support customers' digital transformation and zero trust security initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to promote Cisco SD-WAN and Secure Access/SASE solutions to enterprise customers.
- Identify and qualify opportunities for SD-WAN and SASE adoption, focusing on customers transitioning from legacy architectures to cloud-delivered, integrated networking and security.
- Collaborate with Solutions Engineers and partners to deliver technical validation and adoption accountability plans.
- Manage the sales cycle from prospecting through closing, ensuring deals meet minimum booking requirements (e.g., SD-WAN ≥ $100K TCV, Secure Access ≥ $50K TCV).
- Register deals and comply with Cisco's Secure Access/SASE SPIFF program requirements to maximize incentives.
- Educate customers on the benefits of Cisco's SD-WAN and SASE solutions, including improved application performance, security efficacy, and simplified management.
- Leverage Cisco's market leadership in SD-WAN and security to differentiate against competitors such as Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, and Zscaler.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Cisco's Secure Access and SD-WAN product families, including integrations with Cisco Umbrella, ThousandEyes, and Cisco Secure Client.
Minimum Qualifications
- Consistent over achievement of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proven ability to develop trusted customer relationships with both sales & technical decision-makers
- Demonstrated skills in analysing customers' business drivers and aligning them with Cisco solutions.
- Experience working effectively in collaborative team environments.
- Established credibility with regional customers and partner channels
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Cisco and competitive technologies
- Effective negotiation skills to craft solutions beneficial to both customers and Cisco.
- Strong sense for business, flexibility, and the ability to adapt to a high-energy, dynamic environment characterised by innovation and rapid growth.
- Experience of working with Partner channels.
