The Opportunity
The UK flexible workspace market continues to expand as hybrid working becomes permanent across enterprise and SME sectors.
As Account Director – Flex Workspace, you will own growth within this vertical — winning new flex-space operators and expanding strategic accounts across regional and national portfolios.
You will position Wavenet as the trusted infrastructure partner behind high-performance buildings — delivering connectivity, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, SASE, UCaaS and managed services that power premium tenant experience.
This is a vertical-specialist, consultative sales leadership role.
Core Purpose of the Role
Drive revenue growth across UK flex-space Landlords and Operators by:
- Winning new multi-site coworking and serviced office brands
- Expanding footprint across existing portfolios
- Supporting operators with rapid site rollouts and acquisitions
- Designing scalable, repeatable connectivity models
Key Responsibilities
1. Vertical Growth Leadership
- Develop and execute a Flex Workspace go-to-market strategy.
- Build a target list of UK and regional operators (10–200+ sites).
- Identify expansion plans, acquisition activity and new building launches.
- Position Wavenet as preferred infrastructure partner.
2. Multi-Site Solution Sales
- Lead complex, portfolio-wide sales cycles.
- Design standardised “building connectivity blueprints.”
- Sell:
- Managed LAN & enterprise-grade Wi-Fi
- SD-WAN & SASE for multi-site estate control
- Resilient primary & backup connectivity
- UCaaS & collaboration platforms
- Managed Audio-Visual platforms
- Managed firewall & security services
- 24/7 monitoring & support
3. Executive Engagement
- Build relationships with:
- CEOs & Founders
- Property Directors
- IT & Digital Transformation Leads
- Operations Directors
- Articulate ROI linked to occupancy rates, tenant retention and premium pricing.
4. Commercial Ownership
- Own GP targets and margin integrity.
- Structure multi-site framework agreements.
- Drive multi-year contracts with rollout schedules.
- Maintain 3x pipeline coverage.
Market Understanding Required
The successful candidate will understand:
- Hybrid working demand drivers
- Importance of tenant digital experience
- Rapid site mobilisation requirements (<30 day launches)
- Need for scalable, template-based infrastructure
- Competitive differentiation through portfolio quality
