Role Summary:
We’re growing our Life Sciences enterprise business and are looking for an Account Director to build, penetrate, and expand a Tier 1 enterprise territory.
This is a strategic, consultative enterprise role selling a truly differentiated AI native platform with real market pull focused on long-term value creation within complex organisations across biotech, pharmaceutical, chemical, and research-led enterprises providing solutions that solve significant business challenges.
The conversations you’ll lead are thoughtful and commercially significant. You’ll engage senior scientific, IP, R&D, and commercial stakeholders on decisions that directly influence innovation strategy, portfolio direction, and risk management.
You’ll be responsible for shaping and executing your territory strategy, balancing expansion (60%) and new business growth (40%). Success in this role comes from disciplined account planning, multi-threaded relationship development, and the ability to align executive priorities with tangible commercial outcomes in one of the most resilient and fastest-growing verticals globally.
This role sits at the top of the IC track, with meaningful earnings potential and the runway to make a genuine commercial impact in a innovative business at the heart of the Life Sciences paradigm shift.
This is a hybrid position in our London, UK office.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Own and execute the sales strategy for Tier 1 enterprise accounts, driving new business and expansion growth.
- Build and manage senior stakeholder relationships, identifying decision-makers and generating qualified opportunities.
- Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting through negotiation and close.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to maximise revenue, retention, and long-term value.
- Identify and convert upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
- Partner cross-functionally (Customer Success, Product, Marketing) to deliver tailored, high-impact solutions.
- Monitor pipeline health, revenue forecasts, and performance metrics, reporting insights to senior leadership.
- Stay ahead of market trends and competitive dynamics to uncover growth opportunities.
- Represent the company through thought leadership activities, including webinars, presentations, and industry events.
What We'd Love From You:
- Background in Life Sciences, bonus if you have Chemistry domain expertise
- 5+ years selling SaaS or data / API solutions into life sciences or chemical industries
- Demonstrated success selling into complex enterprise environments, with the ability to navigate senior stakeholders and expand strategic accounts.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a scientific discipline.
- Familiarity with selling data alongside SaaS is a plus, especially for larger (300–400k) enterprise deals.
- Willingness to travel for client engagements and participate in industry conferences, thought leadership initiatives, and webinar presentations.
- Self-starter with the ability to operate autonomously.
- “CEO of your territory” mindset with full ownership of results.
- Strong account planning and penetration strategy development skills.
- Ability to create and execute go-to-market strategies within a defined book of business.
- Highly collaborative approach to complex, team-based enterprise deals.
- Strong internal and external influencing skills to drive opportunities to close.
- Demonstrated ability to build networks, grow existing accounts, and generate new business.
- Exceptional communicator who presents persuasively and brings the leadership presence required to influence senior decision-makers.
