What does a Win Creative Account Director do at Hogarth?

What is Win?

The win campaign celebrates the brand’s Testimonees’ (sponsored athletes) achievements across global sporting events. If a Testimonee wins a particular sporting event, the brand will ask to activate the ‘win project’ to communicate about the win across desired channels. The main sports disciplines are golf, tennis, equestrian, sailing, motorsport and ski. The majority of win projects happen over the weekends and are extremely time sensitive and complex in its management liaising with multiple senior client stakeholders, partner agencies and internal teams.

The role

This is a full time FTC role- 12 months initially, part of the Creative Account team at the Workshop (Client dedicated creative department within Hogarth). The role requires to be working across the 8x most important sporting events weekends of the year and to only ever be a point of escalation over regular weekends.

-Responsible and accountable for the overall long-term management & coordination of the campaign (internal, interagency, client), its creative evolution and production, its operations: planning & resourcing, its reporting & optimisation, its execution & delivery and its finance / profitability

-Assess feasibility, resources and potential impact based on different win ads scenarios to be ahead of the game and coming up with solutions

-Look into model problematics, drive solutions internally and with client

-Define/refine/reassess win framework and adequacy of current setup – resourcing model (perm, freelancers), policies, processes, trainings

-Work with Ops on team timesheets & time tracking across individual events, cost tracking, overtime recording as well as asset tracking to show volumes

Reporting & Optimisation

-Following each T1 and corresponding wash-ups: identify and focus on internal improvements, optimisation and set clear next steps for all parties with time frames to ensure we build on learnings. Same with clients by raising any key challenges and offer different solutions. Same process happens at lower scales for T3 events – each Monday afternoon holding a call with all key stakeholders to understand what worked / didn’t work over the weekend and unplanned Monday and create learnings
